Like previously stated coating bonds to clear coat allowing to last up to five years if maintained properly compared to the three months most waxes are effective for along with the fact the protective properties are much stronger than waxes. Ceramic coating can also be applied to almost every surface of the vehicle from the paint to the wheels and windows and even the interior. Now if you do decide to protect your vehicle with a ceramic coating it is strongly recommended that the vehicle under goes a paint correction before hand to remove all imperfections from the clearcoat due to the fact that once the coating is applied any imperfections are now sealed under the coating and to remove them it would require the removal of the coating to remove imperfections such as light scratches and or micro scratches.
